Lil Wayne Releases Sorry For The Wait 2

In response to what would appear to be a label dispute with Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne has released a new mix tape to hold over his fans. Opting to use the original mix tape style he raps in rare form over the beats of songs like Rae Sremmurd’s “No Type” and Future’s “Sh!t”.

Artistically interesting is the cover, which displays what appears to be Lil Wayne’s arm hanging over a wall with handcuffs broken over his hand. This is most likely symbolizing the label dispute and could point to a possible split between Wayne and the label he signed to when he was just 9 years old. According to rumors floating through the clouds, one of the main issue of the dispute is the label shelving of Wayne’s upcoming album Carter V.

Hopefully Lil Wayne and Cash Money works out it’s differences and continues to provide great music. In the meantime, enjoy Lil Wayne’s Sorry For The Wait 2.
